Discovery Box Pilot – Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1. These Terms & Conditions for the Rituals Discovery Box Pilot are issued by Rituals Cosmetics Enterprise B.V. (“Rituals”) and are part of the Rituals General Terms and Conditions. 1.2. As a Rituals customer, we are excited to offer a limited Discovery Box Pilot (“Pilot”). The Pilot is a limited test designed to offer customers the opportunity to experience a curated selection of Rituals products, including new and recently launched items. 1.3. Participation in the Pilot is voluntary and subject to availability. 1.4. A maximum of one thousand (1,000) Discovery Boxes are made available during the Pilot. 1.5. Orders will be processed on a first come, first served basis, while stocks last. 1.6. Where this Pilot deviates from the Rituals General Terms & Conditions (including but not limited to ordering and delivery), the Pilot Terms & Conditions shall prevail. 1.7. The Discovery Box is excluded from promotions.

2. What is a Discovery Box?

2.1. A Discovery Box is a product bundle composed of a selection of Rituals items chosen by us. 2.2. The exact contents of each Discovery Box are not disclosed prior to purchase and may vary from box to box. 2.3. Boxes may include a wide range of products across different categories and collections, including newly launched or recently introduced items. 2.4. Due to the nature of the concept, customers cannot select, customise or preview the contents of a box. 2.5. The Discovery Box is intended to allow customers to discover and get to know our products in a different way.

3. The offer

3.1. As part of this Pilot, customers will receive three (3) Discovery Boxes for the price of two (2). 3.2. The offer applies only to purchases made within the scope and duration of the Pilot and is subject to availability. 3.3. The offer cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or voucher codes unless explicitly stated otherwise. 3.4. Rituals reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time in accordance with clause 7.

4. Feedback and Participation

4.1. As part of the Pilot, customers will be invited to provide feedback after receiving each Discovery Box. 4.2. Feedback may be collected through questionnaires or similar means. 4.3. The purpose of this feedback is to help Rituals improve its products, services and customer experience. We kindly encourage participation in feedback requests.

5. Delivery

5.1. Discovery Boxes will be delivered to the address provided at the time of purchase via postal or courier services. Once the order has been dispatched, customers will receive a track & trace link to monitor delivery. 5.2. Rituals aim to notify customers a few days prior to delivery; however, delivery dates and times are indicative only and may vary. 5.3. Rituals shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party delivery providers or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

6. Important Information

6.1. Due to the limited nature of the Pilot and the surprise concept, the following conditions apply: 6.1.1. Orders cannot be cancelled once placed; 6.1.2. Discovery Boxes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable; 6.1.3. Individual products within a box cannot be returned, exchanged or replaced; 6.1.4. The contents of the boxes are fixed and cannot be altered upon request. 6.2. By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept the uncertainty regarding the contents of the Discovery Box. The value, composition and type of products included in each box may vary and no rights can be derived from any expectations regarding specific products.

7. Changes and Termination of the Pilot

7.1. As this is a test initiative, the Pilot is agreed for a limited duration only and shall automatically terminate upon completion of the Pilot period, being the delivery of the third box, without any notice being required and without any automatic extension. 7.2. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Rituals reserves the right, during the Pilot period, to modify suspend or terminate the Pilot, in whole or in part, at any time. Any such modification, suspension or termination shall not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for. 7.3. Rituals may, at its discretion, make improvements or adjustments to the Pilot based on feedback or operational considerations.

8. Liability

8.1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. 8.2. Rituals shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in the Pilot, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. 9.2. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the Netherlands. The competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands has the non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle disputes in connection to these terms and conditions, which means that you can file a claim to enforce your consumer protection rights in connection with these terms and conditions in Amsterdam or in the EU country where you live.
